This privacy notice explains how Pao24 Emergency Help, a private volunteer initiative in Thailand, processes personal data. Pao24 is not a government rescue organisation or a medical facility.
2. What data we process
If you contact Pao24, we may process information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, location and information needed to handle your enquiry. Please share only information necessary for your request.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, LINE, email or a contact form, the information you submit is transmitted through the relevant communication service. Those providers have their own privacy notices and practices.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process data to respond to enquiries, coordinate voluntary assistance, and maintain website security and functionality. Where Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or other applicable privacy laws require a particular legal basis or consent, the relevant requirements will be taken into account. The legal basis for individual processing activities should be checked against the actual setup before publication.
The processing of personal data is subject to applicable data protection laws, in particular Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Mandatory data protection laws of other countries remain unaffected where applicable.
4. Sharing and retention
PAO24 does not sell personal data and does not generally disclose it to third parties. Within PAO24, access is limited to people who need the information to handle your request and coordinate voluntary assistance. Exceptions include the communication services you choose and hosting or other technical service providers needed to operate the website; disclosure may also be required by law. Data is kept internally only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and is then deleted, unless statutory retention duties or other legal reasons require it to be kept longer. Data processed by external services is also subject to those providers’ own privacy policies.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or restriction of processing, object to processing, or withdraw consent you have given. You can send requests to info@pao24.com. We may need to verify your identity appropriately.
6. Security
We seek to take appropriate measures to protect personal data. However, transmission over the internet or through external communication services cannot be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
